Costa Rica ATV Adventures with a Huge Difference

ATV tours in Costa Rica add great excitement to Serendipity’s expedition-style travel and, even though we do not count on ATVs among our toys, we have close relations with several local ATV operators that do.

With ATVs (all-terrain vehicles) we can get to places inaccessible by even our great 4X4s. Drive along narrow passageways through the heart of the forest, across rough rocky rivers and fallen trees, up steep trails, to waterfalls or hot springs.

As with all our activities, we ensure your experience is completely private for only you and your guides. While planning for your Costa Rica vacation, YOU get to decide how long or short, hard or soft, according to your interests.

Serendipity Adventures knows about several secluded destinations, and we are experts in finding a great place for a private picnic. One of our favorite rides takes us to an old-fashioned “swimming hole” – a clear bubbly river where we eat lunch, roast marshmallows, and take a dip in the stream. Then off through forest and cane fields. On the way home, we clean off all the mud in the river!

Where Can I Ride an ATV in Costa Rica?

There are a number of ATV Tours in Costa Rica that can be found along the beaches of Northern Guanacaste and the Central Pacific coast. Ride along sandy beaches and up mountain trails to take in view of the beautiful Pacific Ocean. In-land, the Arenal Volcano area is a great choice when it comes to ATV adventures, with rugged trails through the rainforest, across streams, and along the volcanic landscape.
